The venue is truly world class, a deep saltwater tidal body with wind conditions that can vary from light to very heavy.

The Olympic Mountains frame the racecourse to the west, Shilshole Bay Marina to the east, and Mt. Rainier to the south. 

CYC is the northwest’s premier sailboat racing club, and with more than 700 members, has mounted many large regattas over its 79-year history, including J/24 Worlds in 2024. CYC runs over 1,000 separate racing starts annually, more than any other yacht club in North America. 

Our members look forward to sharing our excellent racing conditions and race management capabilities with the top J/105 sailors.
